FBC Washington to hear concert by Brewton-Parker College choir The Brewton-Parker College Concert Choir will present a concert Sunday, March 25, at the First Baptist Church of Washington. Time is 7 p.m. The choir, a select 35-voice group, presents concerts drawn from a diverse repertoire representing musical styles ranging from the 16th century to the present. Mark Bowdidge, assistant professor of music at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, is director of the choir, a post he has held since 2001. Brewton-Parker College is a private, four-year Christian college with external campuses and centers in Baxley, Glennville, Hinesville, Newnan, Norman Park, and Savannah.
The concert is free and a nursery will be provided for small children. A love offering will be taken.
