Historic wedding celebration Sat.
Miss Mary Lou Toombs, portrayed by Jane Ellyn Hardy, is getting married, and you're all invited to the party at the Robert Toombs House, where it's April, 1853. Volunteer re-enactors in authentic period dress will portray characters from the Toombs and Alexander families and entertain guests at the wedding celebration of Mary Lou Toombs and William Felix Alexander from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The Robert Toombs House State Historic Site is located at 216 East Robert Toombs Avenue.
