City pauses for Little Leaguers
All of Washington stops for the annual celebration of Washington-Wilkes Little League Day Saturday. The day began with a parade from W-WCHS, to Depot Street, down Robert Toombs Avenue all the way to Ashley Park. After opening ceremonies at Ashley Park, ball players and their families enjoyed food and games including the home run derby, a dunking booth, and a moonwalk.
