Hazel Louise Lindsey Landrum Graveside services for Hazel Louise Lindsey Landrum, 88, of Greene County were held Monday, March 26, 2007, at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point with Rev. Leonard Ezell officiating. She died Saturday, March 24, at Greene Point Health Care Center. Mrs. Landrum was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Sara W. Scott Lindsey. She was the widow of Robert Lee Landrum. She was employed in retail sales at Union Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Happy Hearts. She attended the Union Point Worship Center and the First Baptist Church of Union Point. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Barbara Landrum of Griffin, and Ronald and Melanie Landrum of Sharpsburg; a daughter-in-law, Vivian Chapman Landrum of Griffin; five grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers included Elliott Lindsey, Paul Jackson, Gene Lindsey, Thomas Swann, Leonard McElhannon, and Jim Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers included Gerald Silvey, Ricky Newsome, Jimmy Lee Sellers, and Marshall Drake. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Union Point, 207 Thornton St., Union Point 30669.
Callaway Funeral Home of Union Point was in charge of arrangements.
