Liz Grant selected for Homecoming scholarship finalist

Liz Grant, a senior at Briarwood Academy, was selected as a state finalist for Georgia's 27th Annual Homecoming Queen Tuition Scholarship Competition. As a finalist, she competed for the state title in Atlanta on March 17-18.
At the competition Liz was selected as one of the state's top ten finalists. Selection was based on written essays, personal interviews, poise, character, leadership, and academics. She was also named runner up for the Miss Congeniality title, which was voted on by all state finalists.
As a Georgia finalist, Liz will be invited to the 2007 Liberty Bowl and will also visit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with finalists from all over the U.S. She is the daughter of Bill and Melissa Grant of Washington.
