Musical message set for Sunday at Anthony Chapel Methodist
Freeman, a native of Atlanta, is a Song Evangelist in the N. Ga. Conference. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Morehouse College and after a successful career with the IBM Corp., he was inspired to become fully involved in a ministry of music. His Christian witness through song has been a vital part of his lifestyle for many years. He sang with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for five years under the direction of the late Robert Shaw. God then opened opportunities for him in a broad range of settings throughout the world. His talent has taken him to several continents and he has sung at churches in 40 U.S. states. He has been a favorite soloist at the N. Ga. Conference United Methodist Men's retreat for many years. Freeman's ministry continues to thrive with a busy schedule along with several recordings he has produced. This fresh approach to proclaiming the Gospel has become his primary focus. He is available to churches in worship services, evangelistic meetings and special events throughout the world. He and his wife, Julie, are the parents of five sons.
A covered dish meal is planned following the morning service for anyone wishing to bring their favorite food. This will allow everyone an opportunity to visit and enjoy fellowship with Freeman.
