B-team splits in two games, plays again Monday at 4:30
      The W-W Tiger B-team split its last two games, both of which were played at Tiger field. On Monday, March 26, the Tigers shutout Oglethorpe County's Patriots after a single bad inning cost them the game against a strong team of Thomson Bulldogs the previous Saturday.

      A group of dignitaries from Learning In Retirement Inc. in Athens toured several Washington-Wilkes homes Friday. Homes visited included Wisteria Hall, the Robert Toombs Historic Site, Washington Plantation, Lafayette Manor Inn, and Magnolia Cottage.
