Duggan attends conference at Georgia Southern University

Elizabeth Duggan, a 2007 graduating senior at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School, attended a leadership conference at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro on Saturday, March 3.

To be invited to participate in the conference, students must have scored a minimum of 110 on the SAT, and have experience in leadership and involvement through ex- tracurricular and volunteer service.

Elizabeth was one of more than 150 high school seniors who participated in examining student organizations, academic and student services offerings, and interviewed for the Leadership Excellence Academics Dedication (LEAD) Scholarship.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Gail and Tom Duggan of Washington- Wilkes.
