Remember the special Easter morning services to be held at Phillips Mill Baptist Church, beginning at 8:30 a.m. down near the old baptismal pool. You might want to bring a folding chair from home. Immediately following the service, breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall. At 10 a.m. Sunday School will be held for all ages, followed by the 11 a.m. worship service with a cantata by the choir and stained glass window dedication. We hope all who had a part in the stained glass window project can be present, and anyone else, please feel welcome. The windows do not have names on them like some churches do because we wanted all members to take part and feel a part no matter the donation. However, it is planned to have a plaque put up with engraved names of donations given in memory of and in honor of in the near future. Everyone who gave money but did not say in memory of or honor of and who wishes to please contact John Howard as soon as possible. He will be happy to talk with you and explain more fully. Thanks to John, Brent Sherrer, and Dean McDonald who were on the committee for the windows. It is hard to please everyone, but they have tried the best they could and are to be commended for their efforts, time, and patience. We thank everyone for your part. Each window carries a picture that reminds you of a Bible story of Jesus. Hope to see many of you Sunday, April 8. ..Mr. and Mrs. Dan McAvoy and Jerry McAvoy are always happy to have friends and relatives to drop by.
