India Cathey Callaway, daughter of Kari and Eugene Callaway Jr., was eight years old March 24 and celebrated her birthday on several occasions.

On Saturday, March 17, India and her father, whose birthday was March 20, were treated to a joint birthday dinner at their home in Rayle. Birthday cake and Leprechaun Pie were served for dessert. Guests attending were Brian, Joann, Laura and Joseph Baldwin and Jeff, Libby, Abby and Clayton Foster, all of Washington.

India celebrated on Saturday, March 24, with family and friends at an American Girl Doll Mystery party set up in her home. India and her gusts enjoyed following a scripted mystery that involved searching for clues and deciphering a coded message before eating pizza and fruit. The guests were guided through the mystery by India's cousins, Haley and Katherine Barton, and two of their friends, Lindsay Carrick and Sarah Cash, all of Alpharetta.

After playtime outside, the guests were treated to birthday cake decorated with a photo of India holding her American Girl dolls. After changing into their pajamas, the girls watched a movie before sleeping in the playroom. A light breakfast of cinnamon rolls, Danish, sausage links, fruit and juice was served the following morning.

Guests were presented American Girl Doll Mystery party favor bags as they left.

Celebrating with India and her parents were her sister, Grace; grandparents, Bob and Bettie Hudson of Marietta; aunt, Beth Bowles; cousins, Haley and Katherine Barton of Alpharetta; and Andrew and Lisa Seay, Rachel and Nicole, of Simpsonville, S.C., Lindsay Carrick and Sarah Cash of Alpharetta, Alli Bennett, Shelly Smith and Taylor Echols of Washington; Sylvia Walker of Rayle, and Sarah Letteere of Warrenton.

India and her second grade friends at Briarwood Academy were treated to a birthday lunch on March 29. Pizza, cupcakes and juice boxes were served.
