RJ Carnes honored at 'Bob the Builder' birthday party

RJ Carnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jadrien Carnes, celebrated his fifth birthday on February 27.

RJ was honored on February 24 with a B o b - t h e - Builder party at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carnes. Guests enjoyed cake, ice cream, chips and dip, Smokies, sandwiches and punch.

Celebrating with RJ, his parents and grandparents were Mrs. Shawn Turner and Amber, Mrs. Barbara McAvoy and Lauren, of Washington; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Carnes, Mark and Harley, of Hartwell; Mrs. Jacqueline Carnes, Jayde and Hunter of Watkinsville; Renea Moncrief of Greensboro; and Matthieu Johnson of Elberton.

He celebrated on February 27 at school with his pre-kindergarten class when everyone enjoyed chips, juice, cookies and cupcakes.

RJ was treated again on March 3 at the home of his great-grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. O'Neil Martin in Lincolnton. Hamburgers, chips and dip, drinks and cake were served. Celebrating with RJ, his parents and great-grandparents were grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Savici and Michael and Mrs. Lynn Allison and Kristy.
