Daisy Thornton honored at bridal shower on Mar. 3

Daisy Thornton, bride-elect of Benji Lewis of Statesboro, was entertained at a miscellaneous shower on Saturday, March 3, at the home of Mrs. Tommy Edwards. Co-hostesses with Mrs. Edwards were Mrs. Marty Echols, Mrs. Rob Moore and Jennifer Houpt.

For the occasion Miss Thornton wore gray slacks with pink pinstripes and a pink blouse. She was presented a corsage of daisies.

A beautiful spring bouquet of yellow, pink and purple flowers graced the table overlaid in white linens.

A delicious assortment of party foods and punch was served.

Twenty-two guests were invited. Special guests included the brideelect's mother, Mrs. Sam Reeves, and grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Todd, both of Washington.
