Eaglettes win in cheerleading

The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department Eaglettes won first place in the Washington-Wilkes Annual Cheerleading Competition held Saturday, March 24.

Other Cheerleader groups participating in the event were Madison County's Junior White Raiders, second place; and Madison County Midget White Raiders, third place.

The Washington-Wilkes Falconettes won fourth; Madison County Junior Red Raiders, fifth; Oglethorpe County Senior Patriots, sixth; and Oglethorpe County Junior Patriots, seventh.
