How in the world can you talk on the phone like that? .. Visitors of J.W. and Bonnie Boatwright have been Kay Berry, Joynny Boatwright, and Ruth Flynt. ..Our community lost one of its most prominent citizens Wednesday night when Mrs. Annie Blanche Vaughn passed away. She taught many of our children in the Washington-Wilkes Primary School and taught in Sunday School (adults and children) and Bible School at Sardis Baptist church where she was a faithful member. She was also organist and also played the piano when needed. Her close knit family of four children and their families looked after her lovingly and tenderly. She was a member of the Rayle Lunch and Learn Club. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Her sons, Malvin and Tucker, and her daughters, Jean and Penny, and their families have our deepest heartfelt sympathy. ..Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family of Tom Hardy who passed away Thursday.
