Jillian Wells feted at lingerie shower on Saturday, April 7

May bride-elect Jillian Wells was feted at a lingerie shower on Saturday morning, April 7, at the home of Sparky and Mary Newsome in Logan Woods. Hostesses for the shower were Lizzie Newsome of Athens and Leigh Oxendine of Augusta.

Miss Wells, whose marriage to Adam Andrews will be an event of May 5, was presented a cymbidium orchid corsage to complement her beige, white and black top worn over black slacks.

The Newsome home was beautifully decorated with lovely arrangements of garden azaleas in addition to a bouquet of mixed spring flowers in the living room.

A matching bouquet of spring flowers centered the dining table overlaid in a white Army-Navy cloth. From the table guests enjoyed cheese balls with crackers, strawberries and dip, assorted cookies, cake squares, nuts, mints and cheese straws. Also served were punch, mimosas, and coffee.

The hostesses presented Miss Wells gifts of bridal lingerie.

Joining the bride-elect and hostesses were her mother, Vonice Wells, and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Cherry Andrews, both of Washington; Tiffany Andrews and son, Ashton, Amy Echols, Laura Leard, Teresa Eason, Mary Lois Akin-Newsome, Pat Thornton, Debbie Lindsey and Mary Newsome of Washington, and Jessica Eason of Macon.
