Mrs. Joe Harris presents program to Mary C. Reid Women on Mission

The Mary C. Reid Women on Mission of First Baptist Church met Tuesday morning, April 3, in the Conference Room.

Mrs. Dennis Hopkins welcomed the group, led the reading of the WMU Watchword and offered a prayer.

Those with special needs were remembered.

After the business meeting, Mrs. Eldon Holes gave the prayer calendar and prayed for the missionaries.

Mrs. Joe Harris presented a program describing her and husband, Dr. Joe Harris' February trip to Ha- waii as guests at a meeting of the Mainland Advisory Council of the Hawaii Baptist Academy. She gave a history of the Academy and described its mission as being one of academic excellence in a Christian environment and with a Christian outreach.

Mrs. Gene Pollock closed the meeting with prayer.

Members present were Mrs. Mary Ann Bentley, Mrs. Lynwood Cofer, Mrs. Joe Harris, Mrs. Eldon Holes, Mrs. Dennis Hopkins, Mrs. Gene Pollock and Mrs. Charles Reese.
