Tanner Guinn guest of honor at bridal shower on March 24

Tanner Guinn, bride-elect of Tom Bridges, was entertained at a miscellaneous shower on Saturday, March 24, given by Rebecca Echols, Jane Echols, Jean Echols, Becky Wilson, Margie Bunch, Clara Belle Tate, Ann Reviere, Jeanette Broome and Dede Broome in the fellowship hall of Tabor Baptist Church.

In honor of the occasion Miss Guinn was presented a corsage of spring flowers to complement her pink sweater worn with a brown skirt dotted in yellow, turquoise and pink.

Used in decorating was a flower stand adorned with candles in cut glass holders. Topping the setting was a larger candle in a holder accented with iridescent stones and flowers. Another round table featured a bride doll.

Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods and punch.

Lauren Tanner assisted her sister by recording the gifts that were beautifully displayed for guests to enjoy.

About 40 guests attended. Special guests in addition to the bride-elect's sister were her mother, Teresa Tanner, also her grandmothers, Robbie Tanner and Linda Guinn; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Birder Mae Bridges, and sister, Tammy Gunter.
