Victory Baptist Church plans third 'Super Sunday' April 15

The third in a series of Super Sundays in April programs at Victory Baptist Church will be held Sunday, April 15, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Special guests for the day will be Ronald and Barbara Hodge, Missionaries to America with the Baptist Ambassadors to America. Both are natives of West Virginia and have been involved in church planting, rescue mission, Women of Faith, Heart-Cry for Revival, Radio, Tapes and Publications, mission conferences, missionary supply, and missionary training.

The primary purpose of the ministry of the Hodges is church planting, with church strengthening, locating pastors, food, clothing, and relief effort, and publications ministry following closely. They are particularly concerned for the souls in the remote mountain areas of West Virginia and the surrounding area, and for the abandoned church buildings that once were real blessings to the people of America. They have also worked in the same capacity in Michigan.

The Baptist Ambassadors to America is a ministry of Landmark Baptist Church, Downington, Penn. Ronald and Barbar Hodge were married in 1962 and are the parents of five children and 18 grandchilden.

There will be special music at each service and a special message for those attending. A nursery will be provided for small children.

The congregation and the pastor of Victory Baptist, Jimmy Chapman, extend an invitation to anyone interested to attend all services.
