Helps Kiwanians with estate planning
Walter Currie of Asheville, North Carolina, was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, April 17. Currie presented an interesting and informative program entitled "Estate Planning." He discussed the definition of Power of Attorney citing specific types - limited, general, health care, combinations, and "durable." In addition, he told members about living wills, living trusts, charitable trusts, and trusts created by wills - spelling out the tax advantages of each. Louise Maynard (left) was the program host for the day.
