History students may apply for 2007 scholarship award

The Washington-Wilkes Historical Foundation Board is announcing a call for applications for its 2007 scholarship award.

Qualifying students need to be enrolled in a degree program with a declared major to teach history or work in the field of historic preservation.

Interested applicants should mail letters of interest to the W-W Historical Foundation Board; P.O. Box 337; Washington, Georgia 30673. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2007.
