Kettle Creek NSDAR members tour Hickory Hill in Thomson

Eleven members of the Kettle Creek Chapter NSDAR were in Thomson Monday, April 16, for tour of Hickory Hill, the historic home of Thomas E. Watson.

Members were given a private tour of the home and learned much about Mr. Watson, Georgia author, lawyer and statesman, and his beautiful home.

After the tour all enjoyed lunch at White Columns, also in Thomson.

Members attending were Mrs. Winston Bailey, Mrs. Wyatt Albea, Mrs. Bob Dinneweth, Mrs. Don Crowe, Mrs. Pete Kopecky, Mrs. Marvin McAvoy, Mrs. Gene Pollock, Mrs. Charlotte Simmons, Mrs. Thad Broome, Mrs. Billy Gunter and Mrs. Larry Pinson.
