..Mrs. Edward Pope returned home Saturday after an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Coston in St. Augustine, Fla. Joining them for an Easter celebration were John Cook, J.C., Amelia and Natalie, of Alphahretta. ..Mrs. Robert Wallace enjoyed an Easter visit with Mr. and Mrs. Theron Wallace and Molly in Conyers. En route to Conyers she joined her family in Homer for a 90th birthday celebration honoring Mrs. Thelma Brewer. Before returning to Washington last Tuesday Mrs. Wallace visited overnight in Rome with former Washington resident, Mrs. Jeanne Beckum. ..Mrs. Bruce Gioia and Alexis of Vidalia visited Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Wolter. ..Abdula and Jackie Al-Azawi of Duluth were Wednesday overnight guests of Howard and Dell James. On Thursday afternoon they enjoyed coffee and dessert in the home of Virgil and Barbara Wolter. ..Mrs. Charlie Jordan of Alpharetta was a weekend guest of Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Pollock. ..Mr. and Mrs. David McClearen gathered with other family members and friends as they attended homecoming Sunday at Sandy Cross. ..Mrs. Paul Laymon of Hixson, Tenn., enjoyed the weekend with her mother, Mrs. E.E. Pasco. ..Patty Leard and Cheryl Young, both members of Washington Presbyterian Church, attended the 38th annual Northeast Georgia Presbyterian Women's Retreat at Rock Eagle over the weekend.
