Wilsbary's May Fest benefit set for May 4 at Mary Willis

The 2006 Wilsbary May Fest at the library saw plenty of activity and provided the means for the acquisition of many needed books and materials.
Wilsbary's May Fest, the annual fundraiser of the Friends of the Mary Willis Library, is set for May 4 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the lawn of the library.

The sale will feature used books at bargain prices, plants from some of Washington's beautiful gardens, and baked goods from some of the best that Washington's private pantries have to offer.

Anyone who has books they will never read again can bundle them up and donate them to the Wilsbary Sale by taking them to the library by May 3. Citizens are encourage to donate their paperback and hardcover books so that friends can enjoy a wealth of reading material.

Clear shelves and closets and at the same time support the good things the Friends do for the library, such as support of the upcoming Vacation Reading Program.
