Lucious Stewart continues outstanding play as part of Team Truth basketball team
"You won't believe the schools that are after him as a result of his playing on this team," said his high school varsity coach Don Keiser. "It's unbelievable - and that's how you get scholarships." Keiser said he has sent information on Stewart, who is a junior and will play one more season for the W-W Tigers, to schools like Miami, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Wichita State, and the University of Toledo. Representatives from many of those team as well as many others will be attending AAU games in a big tournament in Houston, Texas, next weekend. Stewart and Team Truth will be there competing with some of the nation's best. Team Truth has already won three tournament championships, according to Keiser, and their only loss was in a recent championship game in Washington, D.C. Stewart is playing with Team Truth after an ultra-successful year with Washington-Wilkes in which he averaged 22. 7 points per game with a season high of 37 points.
