Song and dance team entertains civic club

Cynthia Altman and her brother-in-law, Mickey Altman, of the Washington Dance Academy were the guest performers at the regular meeting of the Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, April 24. Cynthia and Mickey treated Kiwanis members to a song and dance performance titled "A Little 'Gypsy' Music and Dance." Cynthia explained that music and dance teaches students of all ages discipline and enhances self-esteem. Washington Dance Academy students performed during intermission at the Kiwanis Talent Show this year to the delight of the audience. Carlton Norris was the program host for the day.
