Wesley Pope enjoys 'Hot Wheels' second birthday party Apr. 21

Wesley Duncan Pope, son of Susan and Edward Pope III, was four years old on Saturday, April 21, and was treated on several occasions.

The day before his birthday Wesley celebrated at the First United M e t h o d i s t Church Pre- Kindergarten as he shared cupcakes with is classmates.

That afternoon he enjoyed a celebration with his playmates at Miss Angie's Daycare. Everyone was served John Deere birthday cake and Cheetos.

On his birthday Wesley was treated to a "Hot Wheels" backyard party at his home with his parents, grandparents, Nancy and Raymond Duncan of Travelers Rest, S.C., and Susan and Edward Pope Jr. of Washington; and uncle, aunt and cousins, John, Katherine, Anna and Caroline Gentry of Watkinsville. All enjoyed a cookout of hot dogs with all the trimmings, chili, baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, fresh strawberries and chips served on Hot Wheels plates with other matching accessories. His Hot Wheels birthday cake was served with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Wesley presented Hot Wheels goodie bags to his cousins.
