Wilsbary May Fest set for Sat., May 4 on library's lawn

The Friends of the Mary Willis Library's annual Wilsbary May Fest is scheduled for Friday, May 4, on the lawn of the library at the corner of South Jefferson and Liberty streets.

The sale will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. Plants, baked goods, and books will be offered. Donations from members and the public are needed and appreciated.

Spring has brought its beauty to the gardens of Washington. Many of our best gardeners will offer plants from the abundance of their yards and gardens. These plants are always a highlight of the spring season and the Friends' sale will be an opportunity to add to collections and support the many projects of the Friends that benefit the library such as the purchase of both adult and children's books.
