Freda Elizabeth Moore

A memorial service for Freda Elizabeth Moore, 69, of Fayetteville, N.C., was held Friday, April 20, 2007. Burial was Saturday, April 21, at Phillips Mill Baptist Church Cemetery, Washington, with Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington in charge of arrangements. She died April 11.

Mrs. Moore was the widow of John Wayne Moore who died in 1985. She retired from AAFES in 1997 after a long and successful career. She cherished the Moore family reunions and her memories of Washington.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Brad Horn and Tammy and Ron Fears; three grandchildren, Shannon, Christopher, and Shane; a sister, Shirley Ritchey; and two brothers, Norman Matkin and Hank Jones.
