A citizen at this month's meeting of the Board of Commissioners said that unless we put our voices, opinions, and money together, Wilkes County is going down, down, down. How do you think Wilkes Countians need to get together for progress?

"We need to all get together and bring in more jobs." DETRUS DAVIS Diesel Mechanic "We have to have good schools first. Then we have to have good industry. Without good schools we're not going to have industry to come here and if we don't have good industry to pay our workers adequately, then people are going to need to leave. It's a great place to raise a family, and I think we are going in the right direction."
