Vanessa Wilson honored at bridal shower on April 22

Bride-elect Vanessa Wilson was entertained at a shower Sunday afternoon, April 22, in the fellowship hall of Tabor Baptist Church in Tignall. Hostesses for the occasion were Jane Echols, Rebecca Echols, Jeanette Broome, Marjorie Bunch, Anne Reviere and Robbie Tanner.

Miss Wilson, whose wedding to Clay Patrick of Guyton will be June 30, chose a brown and white skirt topped with a brown sweater with crocheted accents on the sleeves and lower hem. She was presented a corsage of white daisies.

After guests registered, they greeted the bride-elect and hostesses.

A display of candles in hurricanes and spring azaleas were used in decorating. Another table featured a large bride doll.

During the afternoon, guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods and punch.

Twenty-five guests attended and included the bride-elect's mother, Candy Hopkins of Washington; her "Mama II," Becky Wilson; grandmother and hostess, Rebecca Echols, both of Tignall.
