The Regions Bank Relay for Life Team will sponsor a cookout on the parking lot of the bank on Robert Toombs Avenue Friday, May 4, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers and lots of goodies available.

The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Summer Basketball Camp 2007 is accepting registration for boys and girls ages eight through 13 at the recreation Department. Deadline for signup is June 4. Camp schedules will be set up according to the child's age and this information will be given to the child on the first day of camp. There is no cost for instruction. There is a cost of $10 for the camp t-shirt.
