Washington man is bound over on three molestation charges

A Washington man has been bound over to Superior Court on charges of child molestation.

Thomas Braden Burk, 38, was arrested first on Saturday, April 19, and charged with aggravated child molestation. A week later, he was again arrested and charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of felony aggravated child molestation.

The date of offense listed on the arrest report for the second aggravated child molestation charge is more than 10 years ago.

The case is in the hands of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Wilkes County Sheriff's Investigator Bud Harrison said. Burk is jailed in the Wilkes County Law Enforcement Center.
