Let's hear it for the girls! Oh, Oh, excuse me, just still singing and thinking about the Hillary Lindsey concert Saturday night. Also, HIllary spoke so affectionately about growing up here and her heart still belongs to Wilkes Couny - you could just tell from her comments and her generosity by donating all proceeds to the middle school band. Also, I hope you got the chance to see mom and dad, Kathy and Ricky. They were both beaming wit hpride. In addition to the great concert, there was lots of good food, from the barbecue (including fried apple pies by Ida Mance), to hamburgers and hotdogs, many treats to stave off hunger pangs.
