We had a nice day at Ebenezer Baptist Church Sunday. We had a great number, some visitors, but mostly members. Dr. Dupree's message was taken from Exodus and Luke on the Lord's Supper. It was an inspiring service. ..I went to one of my doctors Tuesday in Augusta. Afterwards I had lunch with my friend, Carol Dragon, in Martinez. ..Saturday evening, my friend Sara Huff and I attended the Relay for Life Survivors Dinner. It was held at the Third Shiloh Building in Washington. It was really nice. Joe Barnett cooked his famous Shrimp and Grits and Low Country Boil for us. It was delicious. Thanks to all who made this a success. I believe we all enjoyed it.

..G.B. and I had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wallace in Lincoln County Sunday. Shannon Thomasson, Taylor McAvoy, and Garnett Wallace joined us. ..Visitors of Sara Huff have been Randy Goldman, Connie Johnson, and Misty of Lincoln County; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Crawford of Rayle; Linda and Peyton Standard, and Sherry Newsome. Sara Huff, Linda and Peyton Standard attended church at Pierce's Chapel Sunday. They enjoyed dinner there. ..Cassie Goldman and Bryson visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Johnson in Athens, Thursday. On Saturday, Cassie, Bryson, and Mitch Taylor visited Deanne Johnson in Hull. They spent the night and returned home Sunday evening. ..Rev. and Mrs. Jim Newsome of Vero Beach, Fla., arrived Sunday evening to visit his mother, Mrs. Jenelle Newsome, for several days. ..Miss Grace Dunaway and Alex Dunaway had supper with Beverly Teasley in Lincoln County Wednesday. ..Sincere love and sympathy to all who have recently lost loved ones. Our prayers go out to each family. ..Mrs. Lucille Ingram and Trudy Ingram visited Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Davenport and Tyler in Hayesville, N.C., recently. ..Mr. and Mrs. Richard Phillips and friends enjoyed supper at Old McDonald Fish Camp in North Augusta Friday night. On Saturday evening, Brenda and Richard enjoyed supper at Victory Baptist Church. Last week the Phillipses kept Chip Haynes a few days because of sickness. ..Happy birthday to Roy Chesnut and Trace Newsome this week. Trace celebrates his 18th and Roy his 15th. I cannot believe our grandson will be 18 on April 30. G.B. and I will celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary on April 30.
