Helping her celebrate with a party at her home were her mother, Sophie Lewis, and her three sisters, Lucy and Don Anderson, Delois and David Sewell, and Valerie Doubilet. ..Skip Padgett brought the message at Sardis Baptist Church Sunday morning. Monica Gunter led in some good old time singing with Pam Hall at the piano. Skip and Kathryn Padgett sang a beautiful song with Skip playing the guitar. The Lord's Supper was served by the deacons of the church. Cody Armour held children's church in the annext of the church. Brooke Berry was in charge of the nursery. Everyone received T-shirts, tote bags, and other gifts. .. Angela Armour and Hunter, Samantha Armour, Will Callaway, Scott and Sissy Smith, Abby and T.J., Zack Smith, Richard and Lou Heard, Mattie and Hank, were Sunday guests of Buck and Linda Echols. ..Vickie Sisson Davis of Toccoa visited Mrs. Carl Sisson and others in Washington-Wilkes last Tuesday. ..Johnny Shedd attended the birthday party for his grandson, Morgan Shedd, Sunday afternoon. ..Marion and Millie Mansfield visited Johnny and Kathryn Shedd Sunday afternoon. ..Ann Wideman visited Miss Emily Rorie at the Echols Home during the week. She also visited Betty and Gene Winfrey. George and Ann's visitors Sunday were James, David, and Mathew, and David's friend, Patricia. ..I would like to thank each of you who have been remembering J.W. and me in your thoughts and prayers and with cards.
