Bonnie Creel

Funeral services for Bonnie Creel, 75, of Rayle were held Monday, April 30, 2007, at Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. G.L. Avery and Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Interment was in Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. She died Saturday, April 28, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Creel was a native of Pageland, S.C., and was the daughter of the late Uriah Alonzo McManus and Mary Magdalene Carnes McManus. She had lived in Wilkes County since 1992. She was a business woman and had worked in many different industries, most recently as property manager in real estate.

Survivors include a son, Billy Creel, Rayle; two brothers, William Clyde McManus, North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Johnny McManus, Lancaster, S.C.; two sisters, Sandra Deese, Washington, and Diane McManus, West Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life, Wilkes County, American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Road, F104, Augusta 30904.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
