Sadie Willis

Funeral services for Sadie Willis will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the McLendon Memorial Funeral Home, Washington, at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Pole Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Tignall. She died Saturday, April 28.

Mrs. Willis was the daughter of the late Nan and Willie Tate and was a member of the Pole Branch Baptist Church. She was the widow of Ernest Bell and Johnny Willis. She moved to Atlanta where she became a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Tate; a sister, Willie Mae Tate; four grandchildren, Robert Bell Jr., Wayne Bell, Marilyn Bell, and Denora Nunally; and four greatgrandchildren.

Toombs McLendon Jr. Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
