Xi Delta Tau installs officers for 2007-2008 at meeting April 9

Jennifer Jackson was installed as president of Xi Delta Tau Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi, at the Founder's Day meeting April 9 at the Fitzpatrick Hotel.

Also installed for the 2007-2008 year were Cynthia Walker, vicepresident; Mary Katherine Dyson, recording secretary; Monica Hardy, corresponding secretary; Susan Pope, treasurer; Elizabeth Luncford, extension officer; Melissa Burgess and Crystal Wheatley, calling committee.

Prior to the installation Gretchen Lamar, outgoing president, presided and led the opening ritual.

Cynthia Walker offered the blessing before the meal.

After dinner Mary Katherine Dyson read the Founder's Day Pledge. The Founder's Day Message was read by Mrs. Lamar.

Mrs. Lamar continued the meeting by thanking everyone for a good year and closed her remarks by announcing the 2007-2008 theme, "Sing a Song of Sisterhood".

Following the installation, the meeting ended with the closing ritual and closing prayer.
