Tom Bridges and Tanner Guinn honored by family at cookout

Engaged couple Tanner Guinn and Tom Bridges were guests of honor at a family cookout given by his sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Shane Gunter, at the Gunter home on the Thomson Road Sunday afternoon, April 29.

For the outdoor party Miss Guinn chose a coral sun top over white gauchos.

The porch, patio and pool area were festive with red and green umbrellas and tables covered with red checked cloths. Beautiful plants in the manicured gardens added a rainbow of color.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of barbecued chicken, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, tea, Coke and water. Banana pudding and lemon pound cake completed the menu.

The couple presented their hosts Tyler Candle Company candles.

The 50 invited guests included family members of both the Guinn and Bridges families.
