Tignall Baptist's seniors take trip to Bankers House

The Senior Adults of Tignall Baptist Church left early Saturday morning for the trip to the Hiawassee Bankers House at the Anderson Music Hall in Hiawassee.

They stopped at Daniels Restaurant and had lunch before going to the music hall. They thoroughly enjoyed the 2 1/2 hour 113th annual variety show. The last part of the program with a patriotic tribute to Veterans of World War II, Vietnam War, and the war in Iraq was very impressive.

One of the marines who had served in Iraq and had lost his buddy there stopped by both vans and got a hug from everyone. He exchanged special greetings to Rev. Dale Fincher as he is a former marine.

On the way home they stopped at the Barbecue Shack in Toccoa and had supper. Rev. Dale Fincher and Graydon Bobo were the drivers of the two vans.
