Beaverdam Baptist holds fifth Sunday fellowship meal

A fifth Sunday fellowship meal was enjoyed after worship services at Beaverdam Baptist Church Sunday.

The floral arrangement used on the Communion table Tuesday night was still beautiful. Additional roses were added to those used in the Clifton Barrett Fellowship Hall.

Pastor John McMillian asked God's blessings on the meal which was planned to go with the delicious beef roast cooked by William Morrison. Other members brought vegetables, salads, and desserts.

Members joined the pastor in expressing appreciation to the hospitality committee members who coordinated Tuesday night's refreshments and Sunday lunch. They are Rosie Maxwell, Elaine Mathews and Marie Maxwell, with the assistance of William Morrison, and Ricky Maxwell. Other committee members are Betty Byrd and Mary Wideman who were unable to attend.
