Emmanuel Christian students walk for Relay
      More than 30 students from Emmanuel Christian Academy raised funds for the 2007 Wilkes Relay for Life, and presented the money Friday prior to the event.

Senior members take special trip
      Pole Branch Baptist Church honored its senior members last Sunday with a trip to Anderson, S.C., where they had lunch at Ryan's. Everyone enjoyed the trip and is looking forward to the next event honoring seniors. Shown above is a picture of the group on the trip.
