Blood drive set for Thurs., May 17 at First Methodist's fellowship hall

The quarterly Washington-Wilkes Blood Drive will be held Thursday, May 17, from 2 until 7 p.m.

The drive will be held in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church on Spring Street. It is sponsored by the Wills Memo- rial Hospital Auxiliary in conjunction with Shepeard Community Blood Center of Augusta.

The goal for this drive is 40 donors. Every donor will receive a gift and a free cholesterol screening. Donors are reminded to bring their donor card or photo identification.
