Breast health class set for May 23 at Health Department

The University Health Care System Breast Health Center will sponsor a breast health class at the Wilkes County Health Department on Wednesday, May 23.

The class will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. No registration is required and there is no charge.

Interested persons should drop in for breast health information and to learn proper breast self-examination techniques, and the importance of yearly mammograms.

Appointments are required for mammograms and may be made by calling 706-774-4141 . Medicare and most insurance plans are accepted.

Persons attending may register for a chance to win a gift.
