Beth Flanigan Keener

Funeral services for Beth Flanigan Keener, 45, of Washington Highway, Lincolnton, were held Sunday, May 6, 2007, at the First Assembly of God with Rev. Addison Belangia, Bishop Ronald Wilson, Rev. Lanis Lewis, and Rev. James James officiating. Interment was in the Martin's Crossroad Church Cemetery. She died Thursday, May 3, at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson.

Mrs. Keener was the daughter of Everette and Dean Flanigan of Lincolnton. She was employed at Farmers State Bank as a loan teller. She was a member of Faith Temple Church where she was president of the Ladies Fellowship and was a member of the praise and worship team.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Keener; a son, Eric Keener and his wife Erika; a daughter, Bethany Keener; a grandson, Tripp Keener of Lincolnton; her parents, Everette and Dean Flanigan of Lincolnton; two brothers, Robert Flanigan and John David Flanigan of Lincolnton; and a sister, Carol F. Johnson, Lincolnton.

Pallbearers included Benton Belangia, Jimmy Griffith, George Leverett III, Dwain Moss, Walter Palmer, and Bruce Turner. Honorary pallbearers were the ladies of Faith Temple Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Temple Building Fund, 1477 Leathersville Road, Lincolnton 30817.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
