Learning conservation from coloring books
In the annual effort to teach Wilkes County students about the importance of conserving soil and water, Broad River Soil and Water Conservation District representatives Marvin McAvoy (back, left) and Joe Bennett (right) present coloring books to W-W Primary School students (l-r) Chris Crew, Savannah Clark, Sydney Freeman, and Avery Hall, along with (center at rear) Jennifer McAvoy and Ginny King. The coloring books are presented to all primary and elementary school students each year.
