Robert Lewis Crew

Funeral services for Robert Lewis Crew, 63, were held Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Gibson Grove Baptist Church, Washington, with Rev. G.L. Avery officiating. Interment was in City West Cemetery. He died Tuesday, May 8, in South Bend, Ind.

Mr. Crew was a native of Wilkes County but made his home in South Bend, Ind. He was the son of the late John Anderson Crew and Daisy Lee Crew. He joined Gibson Grove Baptist Church and served faithfully before moving away.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Crew and Shawanna Crew; three sons, Percell Crew, Robert L. Crew Jr., and Gregory Crew; three sisters, Marie Lawson, Betty Hulin, and Margaret Smith; and four brothers, James Crew, William Crew, John Lee Crew, and Fred Crew.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
