Church of Christ plans singing and giveaway June 2

Washington's Church of Christ will have special events during the first week of June. On June 2 at 11 a.m, at the Church of Christ on Lexington Avenue, produce will be given away to the elderly and the needy. Also, there will be singing on Tthe Square from 2-4 p.m. Simultaneous events in neighboring cities will also take place.

In Crawfordville there will be singing from 2-4 p.m. on the courthouse steps. On June 6, there will be a surplus giveaway at the senior citizen building in Crawfordville at 11 a.m.

In Lincolnton the singing will be at the courthouse from 2-4 p.m. On June 5, a produce and surplus giveaway will be held at the senior citizen building.

The Church of Christ would like to encourage all community members to participate in these events.
