Beaverdam sets revival services for June 4-6 at 7

Beaverdam Baptist church will have revival services Monday, June 4, through Wednesday, June 6, with services beginning each evening at 7 o'clock.

Monday and Tuesday evenings. the sermons will be by Rev. John McMillian Jr., pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton. Rev. James Bland, Georgia Baptist Association Missionary, will preach Wednesday evening.

Rev. McMillian also teaches a Bible class at Gatewood private school in Eatonton. He attended Luther Rice Seminary, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is now attending Luther Rice Seminary.

He has pastored Clifford's Grove Baptist Church and preached at Williams Creek Baptist Church in the Georgia Baptist Association and for seven years was pastor of Silver Run Baptist Church in Eatonton. He is the son of Rev. John McMillian and Mrs. Peggy McMillian, and is married to Christa Puckett McMillian. They have three sons, John, Jacob, and Joshua.

Rev. James Bland has served as Associational Missionary for the Georgia Baptist Association for nine years. He has served as pastor of five churches in Georgia. He graduated from Brewton-Parker College, Georgia Southern College, and received a Master of Divinity and a Master of Religious Education from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Mrs. Bland - Judith - live in Washington.

William Morrison, church musician, will be in charge of music with special singers each evening. Beaverdam's pastor and members invite everyone to attend all services, including regular worship services beginning at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning; and to the time of fellowship and refreshments after the Wednesday night revival service.
