Young Farmers schedule tractor pull June 9 to make up rain cancellations
TO THE EDITOR:

The Wilkes County Young Farmers would like to thank everyone who attended the truck and tractor pull on May 13.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we certainly can't complain about the rain. We were able to finish all of the antique classes and have scheduled a June 9 pull as a make-up date for the remainder of the pull. The pull will begin at 6 p.m. with Class 24 and continue with the standard pull order.

Anyone who paid admission in May will receive free admission. For anyone who did not attend the last pull, admission at the gate will be $5. Children six and under will be admitted free.

Pullers who paid admission in May and signed up to pull will receive credit at this pull. For pullers who did not attend in May, the first pull will be $5 with each additional pull at $10.

We also have another pull scheduled for July 14. Please mark that date on your calendar.

Thanks again to all of those who attended and helped. We hope to see you on Saturday, June 9.
